About Dr Yuen

Dr Patricia Yuen, trained in the United States, is one of Singapore’s leading dermatologists, with her own private practice located at Patricia Yuen Dermatology, Paragon. With more than 20 years of clinical experience in treating medical and cosmetic skin problems, she takes pride in providing the most effective and holistic skin care solutions in a cost-effective manner.

A well-known regional speaker in aesthetic dermatology. Dr Yuen graduated from Brown University with a bachelor degree in Human Biology/ Race and Gender in 1989, received her postgraduate doctorate from Boston University School of Medicine in 1993, completed her residency in Internal Medicine in San Francisco in 1996, and obtained her fellowship in Dermatology from the National University Hospital Singapore in 2001. There, she trained under the mentorship of Professor Chan Heng Leong, who is the Pioneer of Dermatology in Singapore.

She is a fully accredited specialist with the Ministry of Health Singapore, and is conferred a fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Dermatology) Singapore. She is also a member of the Dermatological Society Singapore, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, diplomate of the National Board of Examiners (USA), and the Medical Board of California (USA). She also holds a medical licence in the State of California.

Dr Yuen’s clinical interest is in Cosmetic Dermatology, especially in non-invasive facial enhancement and rejuvenation using the most advanced and effective evidence-based techniques. Our clinic prides itself by having an armamentarium of the lastest US FDA-approved lasers and equipment, especially curated by Dr Yuen, to afford the highest level of patient satisfaction.

Since 2004, Dr Yuen has developed her own medical grade skincare line, SKINSENSE, which is used in the treatment of pigmentation, acne and for skin rejuvenation, as well as to complement the laser procedures.

In addition to her aesthetic skin practice, Dr Yuen is experienced in dermatosurgery for moles and skin cancers, and treats both adult and pediatric general dermatology. Her patient demographics reflect her expertise in treating both Asian and Caucasian skin types, and international patients make up a substantial part of her practice.

As one of Singapore’s top dermatologists, Dr Yuen appears regularly in newspaper and magazines articles and television programs including interviews on Channel News Asia and Channel 5. She has given multiple public presentations on cosmetic dermatology, in cities like San Francisco, Shanghai, Beijing, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Cebu. She continues to lecture and train other healthcare professionals in the areas of Lasers, Botox and Fillers.
