Medical or surgical specialists are doctors who have completed advanced education and clinical training in a specific area of medicine/surgery.
All doctors who wish to practise as a specialist in Singapore must be accredited by the Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB) and registered under the relevant specialty by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
