About Dr Tucker
American physician, Steven Tucker, is a medical specialist living and practicing in Singapore since 2006.
While originally trained as a cancer specialist at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences, Dr Tucker currently focuses on both adult general medicine and cancer medicine. His practice ranges from the prevention of diseases and illness to the treatment of both acute and chronic medical problems.
Dr Tucker is also an expert in medical technology and digital health. By studying information from multiple sources, such as personal genetics, metabolic testing, sensors and activity trackers, he helps patients develop personalized health plans that combine the elements of lifestyle medicine with those of conventional medication, as necessary.
Whenever possible, he promotes liefestyle interventions and patient engagement to prevent and treat diseases, including heart diseases, stroke, diabetes and cancer.
Dr Tucker has received numerous honors and awards including a prestigious Merit Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, a Commendation from the US National Institutes of Health, the UCLA ‘STAR’ Program Award and Pew Foundation Fellowship. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Preventive Oncology, the Singapore Urological Association and the Singapore Society of Oncology. Dr Tucker is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS), as well as an Officer of the Chapter of Medical Oncologists, College of Physicians Singapore (CPS). He is also an Officer of the American Association of Singapore and on the Board of Directors.
Dr Tucker lectures frequently in Singapore and aboard to industry and health leaders.
