Erection Hardness Score
The Erection Hardness Score (EHS) is a useful tool for the measurement of erection hardness during sexual activity. It is a simple self-assessment tool for one to understand one's erection quality.
In the treatment of erectile dysfunction, the goal is to achieve an EHS grade of erection hardness grade 4 - which corresponds to optimal erection hardness allowing penetration and sexual satisfaction.
ERECTION HARDNESS SCORE (EHS)
Grade 1: Penis is larger but not hard.
Grade 2: Penis is hard, but not hard enough for penetration.
Grade 3: Penis is hard enough for penetration, but not completely hard.
Grade 4: Penis is completely hard and fully rigid.
ASIAN IDEAL SEX SURVEY
According to a survey conducted by drug company Pfizer, both men and women in Singapore want to have more and better sex. The Ideal Sex in Asia Survey showed that men want an average of 3.5 x more sex over a 4 week period, while women want 1.8 times more sex. On average, men said that the ideal frequency of sex is 8.7 x per month, while women indicated an average of 7.3 x per month as being ideal.
In addition to wanting more sex, the survey also found that both men and women have a strong interest in improving their level of sexual satisfaction.
Other findings of the survey include:
• In Asia, both sexes (79% of men and 80% of women) agree that erection hardness or the ability to maintain an erection ranks as the most important element for ideal sex.
• About 80% of men and women in Asia value quality over quantity for an ideal sexual experience
• Compared with men with an Erection Hardness Score (EHS) of Grade 3, men with EHS Grade 4 have fewer sick days and higher feelings of self-worth. They are also significantly less likely to suffer from chronic health problems.
• 2 out of every 3 men with EHS Grade 3 erections consider hardness as the top erection improvement area for ideal sex.
